On January 6, 2021, GAC Group released its production and sales bulletin of December 2020. According to data, in 2020, GAC Group manufactured 2,035,000 automobiless in total, up by 0.5% in the adverse situation; and, it sold 2,044,000 ones, slightly down by 0.9% year on year. In spite of complicated external environment and unprecedented challenges of the epidemic, GAC Group achieved both output and sales volume over 2 million vehicles, delivering a brilliant answer on the market.

By month, in December 2020, GAC Group recorded the output of 221,000 vehicles, up by 4.1% year on year; the sales volume of 209,000 vehicles, up by 12.4% year on year; and, retail sales volume of 234,000 vehicles, largely up by 18.8% year on year. Both output and sales volume maintained the good development trend since April, achieving a year-on-year increase.
