On June 7, GAC Energy Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "GAC Energy"), a subsidiary of GAC Group, and Wuhan NIO Energy Equipment Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "NIO Energy") officially entered into collaboration on charging networks.

While entering into cooperation, the two enterprises didn't forget to bring preferential benefits to their users. From June 7 to June 30, users will enjoy a minimum discount of 30% on charging fees when using the other brand's charging facilities. GAC users can check the discount details and activity access through GAC AION, HYPTEC and GAC Energy apps. The promotion aims to help you travel more easily as the Dragon Boat Festival holiday is coming.

According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides will share dynamic data between their charging platforms to ensure interconnection of charging facilities. As the first project after GAC and NIO signed the strategic cooperation agreement on charging and swapping on May 8, the new cooperation will provide their users with rapid intelligent charging services with wide coverage and easier access.

Since 2023, GAC Energy has built more than a thousand 1,000V high-voltage supercharging stations, and has the largest number of fast-charging terminals with a charging rate of over 120kW in the industry. It has taken the lead in self-research and mass-production of H640 flash-charging piles, with a charging current up to 800A per gun and a charging power of 640kW. This year, GAC Energy will promote its Ten-Thousand Charging Piles Plan with a target of building at least 10,000 super-charging terminals on 1,000V high-pressure platforms within this year. GAC is also striving to draw over one million users of its household charging piles.
